Hi,

Have you ever thought about participating in GSoC?

Maybe we can participate with a project related to FUSS, for example:
- Upgrade FUSS (or some parts of it).
- Translate its docs to English.
- Any improvements or generalizations to FUSS.

Maybe you don't need any help, or you can't expect any significant
contributions from a student, but in any case, participating in a program
like GSoC helps to promote the project and to make it more visible. I think
that FUSS can be useful to other schools as well, and maybe to other kinds
of institutions (especially public ones). If more institutions use it, then
maybe you will get more help and contributions for maintaining and
improving it.

We can participate alone (which is more difficult in the sense of managing
the required bureaucracy), or maybe we can participate under the umbrella
of another organization.

For example Developers Italia has participated successfully a few times:

Any kind of help is greatly appreciated!

We can organize a meeting which is extended to both the FUSS & LUGBZ communities.
