Forthcoming Meeting @ Brixen / Bressanone

Hi all,

I was wondering when you're going to organize your weekly dinner closer
to Puster valley, i.e. Brixen.

Any idea yet?

bye

Hi Pasquale! Any idea for a place?

diego

Nope, but I guess we'll find some; that wouldn't be the problem.

This might be a good idea for people to meet that do not live around
Bolzano.

@Pasquale do you know of any other members in the Brixen, Sterzing,
Bruneck area that would be interested?

Would any other members like to meet up there?

It would be fine for me, except that I probably can't move on Tuesdays
due to other commitments. There are a couple of places in Bressanone
where to go for a pizza... with no particular order: grappolo
d'oro/Trauben, Pavillon, Kutscherhof, Valentina, and also the one in
Albes is a good one (these are all those I tried.

Cheers,
Stefano

Nope, unfortunately I don't. But I will post it on my fb profile (my
personal and Libera's one).

Will not get it, sorry, do not consider fb

As for the day: what about a Saturday evening?

As a general rule, I will prefer to avoid w.e. for regular meetings, family will comply.
Instead w.e. will be ok for one-time-activity.

For weekly meeting I will stay on Tuesday.

For a location: once not to far from train station will be better, imho. Brixen center-village will be "not to far".
Have a look at Mappa completa dei Ristoranti di Bressanone - Tuttocittà

I agree that we should avoid the weekend.

Crazy idea:
LUGBZ members in Meran and Bozen can meet in Meran or Bozen on Tuesdays,
while members in Brixen, Bruneck, Sterzing can meet in Brixen Tuesdays
as well?

Would this make things easier for everyone?

Thoughts?

Diego,

Nobody was considering weekly meetings in Brixen I guess, just a one time
event.

Hi,

I insist we should avoid confusion as much as possible.

If we want to do distributed meetings we must publish a clear
schedule and the habitues somehow must guarantee a presence of
at least two persons at every meeting.

This way we can spread the word on social media and get
"shy" members or other LUGBZ-affine people to attend too.

Also we *still* should do Matthias-style short-term invitations
(tues afternoon: "anybody there tonight?"), but not only on this
mailing list - it's becoming a bit of an insider thing, I'm afread.

What we need is a concerted effort with a clear schedule *plus*
reaching out on social media.

The problem - as always - is finding people with time to
organize all this :expressionless:

Bye,
Chris.

Hi,

This is the main goal. The problem is meetings are almost always in and
close to Bolzano. I think for some people this creates a problem and we
are looking for a solution.
Its all about fun and sharing information, we all like it but it should
- as much as possible - also fit into our lives. Tricky balance.

Also we *still* should do Matthias-style short-term invitations
(tues afternoon: "anybody there tonight?"), but not only on this
mailing list - it's becoming a bit of an insider thing, I'm afread.

I agree with you on all points. At the same time I am happy this topic
is being addressed and we are getting feedback.

What we need is a concerted effort with a clear schedule *plus*
reaching out on social media.

The problem - as always - is finding people with time to
organize all this :expressionless:

What a wonderful opportunity to ask for volunteers
Would anyone be interested?
