Workshop proposal: Self-hosting Wordpress sites with the help of docker-scripts

You probably know how to install LAMP and Wordpress on a server, but we are going to see another way, with docker-scripts, that hopefully makes it easier to manage and maintain. This is how the site https://lugbz.org is installed on the LUGBZ server.

Great proposal Dashamir, thanks! Whenever you want! Just tell me date and link and I publish the invitation.

Best,
Paolo.

Paolo, I leave scheduling and other organizational details up to you. Just enter it into the list of scheduled events, at some free place (a month from now, or so).

By the way, Discourse supports event management. It can be done like this:

If you don’t see these options, maybe it is a matter of configuration and permissions, something that needs to be fixed.

It also supports a basic calendar:

Maybe we should try to experiment a little bit and figure out how to use it properly. It would be nice to have a public calendar that lists all the upcoming events.

Good evening,

Where are those workshops held? BBB (Are they recorded)?

Yes, usually they are recorded in BBB.
For the time being there is a list of the recorded BBB sessions in GitLab:

If you cannot access them, join us tomorrow at the Tech meeting, so that we can add you to the group:
